Ed Registrar Vacancies Available In Nz - North Island - Coastal Location

The Position As an Emergency Medicine Registrar at Whakatane Hospital, you will work in a smaller, yet dynamic and high-functioning ED that serves a rural and diverse population across the Eastern Bay of Plenty.

The role includes clinical shifts rostered alongside experienced SMOs, non-clinical development days, and 1 : 4 weekend coverage.

This position is accredited for 12 months of training with the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM).

You will be exposed to a broad spectrum of presentations with the added challenge of rural medicine.

This role also offers a great lifestyle balance with opportunities to enjoy the outdoors and contribute to community-centred healthcare.

Health Service The population of the Western Bay of Plenty is continuing to grow rapidly with high numbers of older adults retiring to the Bay alongside growth in industry and commerce attracting younger people and families to relocate to the region.
