Property Asset Manager

Far North Holdings Ltd (FNHL) is a dynamic Council Controlled Trading Organization serving as the commercial arm of the Far North District Council. They are dedicated to delivering economic, social, and cultural outcomes for the Far North region. With operations spanning maritime, property, and transport sectors, FNHL is a fast-growing and innovative organisation.

FNHL manages a diverse and expanding property portfolio that includes industrial, office, retail and residential properties, as well as infrastructure assets such as marinas and airports in the Far North. Their strategic portfolio aims to stimulate economic growth and long-term prosperity for the region.

As such FNHL are looking for an experienced Property Asset Manager to join their small, highly experienced team in the Bay of Islands. The property team collaborates closely with the operational teams at the various sites plus the property development team.

The Role

As the Property Asset Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the value of a portfolio of commercial property assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong tenant relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention
• Manage lease agreements, renewals, rent reviews, and negotiations
• Oversee maintenance and repairs to maintain compliance and standards
• Manage OPEX and CAPEX budgets to optimise financial performance
• Monitor rent, expenses, and reports to identify efficiencies
• Support the GM of Property with strategic portfolio initiatives
