Overview

Chanel College is a Catholic, co-educational, state-integrated secondary school (Y7–13), located in Masterton.

Chanel College seeks a relational, future-focused middle leader to head our technology learning area.

You will shape coherent Y7–13 programmes across technology (including digital technologies, DVC, hard / soft materials, electronics / robotics, and food technology / hospitality), lifting engagement and achievement so that what’s best for learners drives every decision.

At Chanel College, every full-time, permanent teacher is an Atawhai teacher. Therefore, a strong relational practice and a clear commitment to learners before content are essential in our student-centred kura.

Collaboration and cross-curricular connections are central to how we work, and every teacher is a teacher of literacy and numeracy – these are critical capabilities for all staff.
