We are a place of discovery, and we are looking for a creative, adaptable, and enthusiastic physical education teacher to join our dynamic team.This is a fixed-term, full-time position commencing at the start of term 1, 2026 and ending 27 January 2027 to cover a flexible working arrangement.
This role is suitable for both experienced and beginning teachers.Secondary (Years 7–15) / wharekura, Certificated teacher, Health and physical education.Requirements : The successful applicant will hold a current practicing certificate issued by the New Zealand Teaching Council.ResponsibilitiesTeach junior and senior classes in physical education and health.Contribute to a learner-centred, future-focused approach and deliver flexible learning that supports diversity.Support the school's strategic goals and respond to changes in the New Zealand Curriculum and the education qualification system.Work in a reflective, supportive, and collaborative manner with a strong commitment to enabling the success of all students, including a focus on Maori and Pasifika achievement.Engage with PB4L (Positive Behaviour for Learning) and Restorative practices and contribute to extra-curricular opportunities.Share senior teaching strengths in physical education and health in the application.Qualifications and RequirementsCurrent practicing certificate issued by the New Zealand Teaching Council.Ability to teach junior and senior classes in physical education and health.Commitment to flexible, learner-centred, future-focused learning and ability to cater for diverse learners.Application ProcessEmailed applications and CVs will not be accepted.Please send your CV, and direct enquiries to : Get new listings like these in your email
