About the Role
The Leadership Development Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting the uplift of leadership capability across Health NZ, by leading the development of quality leadership development initiaives, including design and delivery. This work will positively contribute to strengthening leadership capability, culture and the achievement of health targets and improved patient care.
About the Team
This is part of a small specialist team supporting the leadership development needs of some 7,000 people leaders, who collectively lead 80,000 people.
About you
You will hold a relevant graduate or postgraduate qualification, along with over eight years of experience in designing and delivering leadership development initiatives, both bespoke and programmatic. You will also possess sound knowledge of various organisational development frameworks and the ability to apply them effectively to address specific challenges.
In addition, you will demonstrate a collaborative approach to stakeholder engagement, with a strong capability in identifying learning needs and tailoring solutions to meet them. Your excellent relationship management skills will enable you to operate confidently at executive levels.
You will be a confident and experienced facilitator able to adapt to a variety of audiences in both face to face and online environments with proven ability to engage and connect with groups of all sizes.
