About the Role
We are seeking a Fellow to join the Department of Critical Care Medicine.
The Department of Critical Care Medicine admits approximately
Our case mix includes all adult tertiary specialties apart from cardiology and cardiothoracic (provided by another ICU in Auckland City Hospital), burns and plastic surgery (provided elsewhere in Auckland).
There is particular emphasis on neuro-intensive care, tertiary surgical services and abdominal organ transplantation.
Fellows participate in clinical audit programmes and contribute to the knowledge of medical, nursing and support staff.
The Critical Care Fellow is a 12-month fixed term position starting July
The Fellow works on the specialist roster under supervision and there are opportunities for academic study and / or clinical research.

The physical environment is modern and spacious, and the equipment and information technology is up to date.
You should be either registered or be eligible for registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
