Teacher – Taupō Unit

Part time, Fixed term, FTTE up to : 0.4, Start Date : 02 / 02 / 2026, End Date : 11 / 12 / 2026 (Covering leave)

Primary and intermediate (Years 1–8) / kura tuatahi, Certificated teacher.

English, Health and physical education, Learning languages, Mathematics and statistics, Science, Social sciences, Technology, Te reo Māori, The arts.

Fixed term (0.4) commencing term 1, 2026. Experienced primary trained teacher with strong curriculum knowledge and basic understanding of NCEA.

Recent experience teaching the New Zealand Curriculum preferred and confidence teaching Y9 and 10.

This position is also being advertised in the secondary (Y7–15) section.

Northern Health School is a Ministry of Education funded school. Weprovide education and transition support for Y0–14 students whilstill health prevents them attending their regular school.

School management and administration is predominantly based in Auckland with school units in centres throughout the North Island from Kaitaia to Gisborne, Taupō and Taranaki.
