Position

We're looking for a Part Time Merchandiser working a guaranteed 5 hours per week (with the opportunity to pick up additional hours in sales areas including sampling, relays, covering leave and peak season support) at four stores in Christchurch.

Reporting to the Territory Manager, the successful candidate will be a brand ambassador in stores and will play a key role within our Sales team – ensuring that our products are looking amazing on shelf and are in easy reach, so customers can purchase and enjoy their snacks all year round!

Locations and hours

Christchurch - New World, Woolworths & Pak\'n\'Save - Total : 5 hours per week

Saturday : 5 : 00am - 7 : 00am @Pak\'n\'Save Hornby

Sunday : 6 : 00pm - 7 : 00pm @Woolworths Colombo, then 7 : 10pm - 8 : 10pm @Woolworths Moorehouse, then 8 : 23pm - 9 : 23pm @Woolworths Ferrymead

Responsibilities

Unloading pallets and restocking shelves (this could involve lifting boxes of up to 20kg and working at heights)

Checking pricing and best before dates, rotating and moving stock as needed

Following plans / planograms to ensure all product is laid out as per guidelines

Building promotional displays

Creating strong working relationships in store

Providing feedback from a store level and sharing new ideas / suggestions with your leader

What you'll bring

Previous merchandising experience isn't required but would be an extra tick!

Your own car and full driver's license (that will allow you to legally drive at the times needed to get to / from your shifts)

Accountability, honesty and reliability - if you say you will be there you\'ll be there and can be trusted to work autonomously

Excellent communication and relationship building skills

Attention to detail – you like to get things right the first time and always double check your work

Willingness to roll up your sleeves and make it happen

Passion and interest in our company and products – you've been known to enjoy a good snack!

Positivity and a solutions-focused approach – nothing is ever a problem
