OverviewWe currently have a position available for a highly motivated and enthusiastic HVAC Service Technician to join the Service team who has the experience to respond to client requirements including maintenance, service and remedial tasks.Key Responsibilities and AccountabilitiesExperience in servicing and commissioning Commercial Air conditioning systems, including VRF or VRV, chillers and Heat pumps.Experience servicing Residential Air conditioning systems.Preventative maintenance and servicing.Fault diagnostics and repairs.Checking and refurbishing refrigeration systems, diagnosing faults, repairing and replacing faulty mechanisms.Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.Clean, adjust and repair systems and perform warranty services.Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.Ability to nurture, encourage and build strong business relationships with clients and colleagues.Be able to maintain high standards and quality assurance procedures including OSH requirements in keeping with our own and our customer's H&S policies.Working with electronic daily job allocation schedules.You will be responsible to complete specified jobs within the estimated time frames and complete all relevant paperwork.Keep daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.Be able to work unsupervised and be available for the on-call roster.Full-time role Monday to Friday.Experience offered on the following systemsChillersAir DryersProcess coolersCooling towers and pumpsSkills and ExperienceHave a clean full NZ drivers' licenseEWRB limited electrical license beneficial, not essentialL4 Trade certificate or L5 advanced trade certificate in refrigeration and air conditioningRegistered Refrigerant handlers' certificate beneficialRelevant work experience as HVAC / R Service Technician OR relevant Trade Qualifications in HVAC and RefrigerationExperience in HVAC Commercial Project installs, repairs and maintenance - remedial workMust have HVAC and ducting experience, with at least residential or commercial site experienceExperience in the Telecommunication maintenance environment beneficialGas and Fillers License beneficialValid Site Safe beneficial but not essentialBe motivated with a good attitude, and be able to work well as part of a team as well as autonomouslyA strong understanding of workplace Health and SafetyGood time managementExcellent customer service and communication skillsAbout the CompanyRCR Infrastructure Limited is a New Zealand owned national provider of planned maintenance, reactive service, minor and major project, along with IQP building compliance services.
