Plant Operator

Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the Bottle Swap Plant to meet daily operations targets.What you will enjoy doingYour working time will be Monday to Friday starting 7.30am - 4pmOccasional Saturdays as requiredYou'll be operating various pieces of equipment in various areas of the plant on a rotational basisFull training will be provided for each area you work inYou will ensure compliance to the plant Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), codes & regulationsWhat makes you greatLPGA Cylinder Filler certification (or willingness to train and obtain)Forklift licence would be an advantageBe physically fit, and able to lift heavy itemsYou're a good team playerGood verbal and written communication skillsYou are able to use handheld computer delivery equipmentA proactive approach and responsibility towards Health and SafetySatisfactorily pass background checks such as : Criminal & ACC history, medical and Drug & Alcohol screeningBe a team player with a can-do attitude and the flexibility to meet the demands of the operationsWhy you will love working with usElgas is a leading provider of LPG and related products, services and technical solutions in Australia and across the South Pacific.
