This connectivity enables efficient movement of goods to and from the port, supporting trade and economic activities both for Wellington and New Zealand.They are currently seeking a skilled & versatile Electrician to join their growing Engineering & Maintenance team.Your New Role : Your expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring the electrical & mechanical integrity of CentrePort's assets through effective maintenance and repair programs.

In alignment with CentrePort's values of working together as one team, you will be working closely with the other trades completing maintenance work on a variety of machinery.

This includes servicing of container cranes, heavy plant equipment and heavy machinery, pumps, controls as well as diagnosing breakdowns associated with other mechanical systems.

This is a challenging role where no two days are the same.

What you'll need to succeedFully qualified with EWRB registrationMust be able to work from heights & in confined spacesIndustrial and mechanically minded and willing to do on-call workKnowledge of PLC systems & SMA Interbus is beneficialStrong work ethic & strong ability to problem solvePlease note : CentrePort operates a24 / 7shift rotation and candidates must be able to commit to shift work.
