Medical Imaging Technologist - CT

About the role

The RadiologyServices in Waitaha, Canterbury provide patient centred care across multiple sites.We are a hardworking team who use professional knowledge and skills to ensurethe provision of quality patient-centred radiographic imaging services.

Our busytertiary hospital setting will offer you the challenge of performing a widerange of procedures involving acute, planned, inpatient, and outpatientworkloads. You'll coordinate workloads and liaise with clinical andsupport staff.

In thisrole, you will be responsible for :

• Managing daily, weekly workload across multiple CTscanning platforms
• Meeting patient needs within agreed triaged referraltimeframes
• Assisting the Senior CT staff with the daily workflowin CT

About You

You will work in a fast paced environment with a caring team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and flexible person whois up for the challenge within our dynamic CT team in the Radiology services. You will be required to participate in a 24 / 7 rostered service including on call.

Your skills will include :

• Being a team player with excellent communication, timemanagement and organisational skills
• The ability to use initiative and assist workflowwithin the CT team
• Previous experience in CT is essential
• NZ Registration as a Medical Imaging Technologist withthe Medical Radiation Technologists Board is essential
• Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reoMāori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of yourlearning and growth
