It's a place to both work hard and play hard, with a great work-life balance.We Require Carpenters from All Backgrounds, and to Be Successful in This Role You Will Need : Experience in Residential, Commercial and Civil CarpentryShuttering Joinery (including steel-tying)1st, 2nd and Final Fix Skills and ExperienceThe Ability to Interpret and Work from Drawings and Specifications to determine materials, dimensions and installation proceduresFramework and Roof Framing; laying sub-flooring and floorboards, fitting exterior wall cladding and door and window framesExperience with Concrete Formwork (advantageous, but not essential)Experience with Shop Fitouts (preferred but not essential)The Ability to Use Various Woodworking Machinery such as jigsaws, planers, jointers, routers, and other hand toolsThe Ability to Cut, Shape, and Fix Panels, Plasterboard, Timbers, Perspex, and Other MaterialsIdeally, You Will Be or Have : Minimum 3+ Years' ExperienceTrade Qualifications (preferred, but experience may substitute for formal qualification)Own ToolsOwn Reliable Transport and a relevant driver's licenceAt Least 2 Work References100% Commitment to Health & SafetyAble to Pass a Pre-employment Drug TestWhat We Offer : Competitive Pay Rates of $30 - $38 per hour, depending on experienceGuaranteed Minimum 30 Hours per WeekVaried and Challenging WorkLong-Term Career OpportunitiesReady to Join Tradestaff and Build Your Future in Wellington?
