Overview
We're looking for an experienced Front-end Developer to join our team in a permanent role to help us make the things that matter better.
This is a full-time role.
Our office is in Wellington, however this role would also suit someone working remotely within Aotearoa New Zealand (occasional travel to Wellington would be required).
The salary range for this role is $115–130K depending on experience.

About this role
In this role you'll :
use your deep expertise in front-end development to deliver complex and challenging projects, taking substantial features from concept to delivery
craft projects, tools, and front-end development workflows internally and for our clients
support the team in developing, maintaining, and documenting our frameworks, tools, and code libraries
help to train others, provide meaningful and helpful input, and review the work of your peers and juniors
guide clients and other Springloaders to understand the technical issues around projects and enable them to communicate these clearly.
Required skills and experience

Clear communication skills, especially when explaining technical concepts to people unfamiliar with them.
Solid understanding of front-end development design patterns, principles, and ability to apply them.
Ability to work as part of a team and able to take pride and ownership in their work.
Advanced HTML and CSS knowledge — standards compliance, accessibility, pattern libraries, and style guides.
Experience with content management systems or e-commerce platforms.
Experience developing rich interactions and single-page applications with client-side frameworks (such as React, Vue) as well as modern Javascript and Typescript.
Experience architecting front-end codebases in server-side web development stacks.
Experience with the command line, NodeJS, and front-end build tools and task runners (npm, Webpack).
Experience with and advocacy for unit and integration tests.
Remote working

Please note that occasional travel to Wellington would be required.
