We’re looking for a Senior Front-End Developer to join our Digital Practice . In this role, you’ll bring user interfaces to life. Designing and building modern, responsive, and accessible web applications that deliver exceptional user experiences.
What You Will Do | Ngā haepapa
- Develop responsive, accessible, and high-performing front-end applications using Angular and TypeScript
- Collaborate with designers, back-end developers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into elegant UI solutions
- Integrate front-end components with RESTful APIs and cloud-based services
- Contribute to front-end architecture decisions and advocate for best practices
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
- Participate in code reviews, Agile ceremonies, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Mentor junior developers and share knowledge within the team
- Stay up to date with front-end trends, tools, and emerging technologies

Must-Have :
5+ years of professional experience in front-end developmentStrong hands-on experience with Angular 10+ , TypeScript , HTML5 , and CSSExperience integrating with RESTful APIs and working with JSONFamiliarity with responsive design, accessibility standards (WCAG), and cross-browser compatibilityExperience with version control (e.g., Git) and CI / CD pipelinesUnderstanding of Agile development practices (Scrum / Kanban)Excellent communication and collaboration skillsA proactive, solutions-focused mindsetYou’ve helped foster a culture of learning, inclusivity, and innovationA valid NZ work visa, NZ Residency, or NZ Citizenship.Nice-to-Have :
Experience with React, Vue, or other modern front-end frameworksFamiliarity with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or other CI / CD toolsExperience using AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Code, Roo Code) to aid developmentUnderstanding of front-end performance optimisation techniquesExposure to testing frameworks (e.g., Jasmine, Karma, Cypress)Knowledge of UX principles or experience working closely with UX / UI designersPlease share your public portfolio, if you have one.About us | Mō mātou
