An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Regulatory Specialist to join the Business System Delivery and Assurance (BSDA) team with Te Whakatairanga Service Delivery Branch.
The Building System Delivery & Assurance team is responsible for a range of building regulatory functions involving regulatory compliance, monitoring and assurance, and service delivery.
The Senior Regulatory Specialist role is responsible for contributing to the day‑to‑day support and contributing to customer education, contributing sound judgment and technical knowledge and informing decisions on product investigations, warnings and bans. This role calls for a focus on supporting compliance and monitoring functions across the team.
The role is responsible for technical coaching and mentoring of other team members and contribute to the resolution of complex issues that arise.
The successful candidate will have a good understanding of the building regulatory system and have experience working as a senior regulatory specialist of a team.
You will work closely with the Manager, Product Assurance & Investigations and Technical Lead, Building Regulatory Delivery to contribute to meeting the objectives of the wider Building Regulatory Delivery team.
