Commissioning Manager – 150 MW Solar project – Te Aroha, New Zealand

Elecnor is seeking a Commissioning Manager to lead a dynamic team on the 150 MW Solar project in Te Aroha, the Waikato Region of New Zealand.

The Commissioning Manager leads a team performing testing and commissioning of new installations, ensuring systems meet technical specifications, standards, and best practices, and is responsible for achieving operational requirements and conducting final verification.

This is not a FIFO or DIDO role. The successful applicant will need to reside within a safe commuting distance to the project in Te Aroha.

THE ROLE

• Lead and manage commissioning teams on-site
• Plan, implement, and maintain commissioning procedures and documentation
• Coordinate commissioning activities with construction, operations, vendors, and clients
• Supervise testing, inspections, and verification of system functionality
• Manage risk assessments, issue resolution, and timely completion of commissioning.
• Ensure smooth handover from construction to operations.
• Promote safe work practices, quality assurance, and environmental compliance.
