We’re looking for a sales consultant who is outgoing, confident, and bubbly to be around. You are driven and always up for a challenge. You will be relatable to our customers on different levels by understanding our customer's needs and creating lasting personal relationships.

About our role

The Vehicle Sales Consultant position will see you as part of an innovative and customer-focused sales team based at Ingham Nissan West in Henderson, Auckland. We encourage new approaches and initiatives to drive results. This role is suited to a reliable, self-motivated, solutions-focused individual.

Your responsibilities will include :

  • Developing & maintaining lasting business relationships
  • Maximising Sales and exceeding agreed targets
  • Promoting our company philosophy & products to the highest standard
  • CRM contact and follow-up
  • Maintaining your customer database to secure future and repeat business
  • Cold calling and prospecting
  • Maintaining display stock
  • Skills & Experience

  • Motor vehicle industry knowledge is not essential however, a strong understanding of the sales process is required
  • Providing excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to self-manage whilst working within a team
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Experience using in-house computer systems.
  • Experience in a Franchise Automotive dealership is preferred but not essential
  • Currently living in New Zealand and / or hold a valid NZ work visa (if applicable)
