Treatment Plant Manager

Red Stag Timber, New Zealand’s largest sawmill, is a privately owned leader in structural timber production with over 430 staff. Just 10 minutes south of Rotorua, which offers convenient access to forests, lakes, and a variety of outdoor activities.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Treatment Plant Manager to join the team, overseeing two modern treatment plants and leading 21 team members covering a 24 hour / seven day a week operation. This role reports to the Operations Manager.

This is a full-time role, typically Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with flexibility depending on operational requirements. Red Stag Timber offers a supportive team environment with opportunities for professional development and career progression.

The successful candidate will have proven success in these areas :

• Managing chemical processing plants or similar industrial operations.
• Achieving safety, quality, and production targets in a high-volume industrial setting.
• Leadership, organisation, and communication skills to lead teams.
• Preventative maintenance to optimise operations.
• Project management of plant upgrades; from design through to commissioning.
• Experience in large industrial environments.
• Knowledge of Timber treatment processes is a definite advantage.
