JOB DESCRIPTION

About the role :

As a Territory Manager, you will be part of our Animal Health team that specialises in cleaning and sanitising solutions by delivering the highest quality products, services and technologies to our dairy and poultry farm customers in the Canterbury region of New Zealand. You will be providing value through the delivery of key projects at our customer sites, and driving sales and business development opportunities, to our farming customers through our distributors. This is an agricultural sales role in a highly competitive market, where your skills and back up service will reinforce our customers buying decision. This role also provides an excellent opportunity for a motivated and results focussed person with excellent communication skills to further develop their career.

Ideally you will have :

Experience within the dairy / poultry farm market or agricultural retail sales

Technical / mechanical experience would be an advantage.

Exceptional interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

An ability to take initiative and work as part of a team or alone

Strong organisation and problem-solving skills, coupled with a desire to succeed

The ability to deliver a hands-on approach to service execution and adding value

To succeed you will preferably have :

A passion for helping customers and selling solutions

Mechanical aptitude

Strong influencing ability

A valid driver’s license

A focus on keeping your sales database up to date
