Join Kiwibank's Customer Protection team and contribute to protecting our customers to ensure they feel safe when they bank with us.
In this role you will :
Manage fraud cases to minimize the impacts of financial crime for our customers and the business
Action and monitor potential fraud alerts using fraud detection tools
Determine whether transactions are fraudulent using several analysis techniques
Complete initial analyses of fraud trends to ensure appropriate referrals of alerts and files are undertaken
Contribute to continuous improvement by analysing current and past alerts and fraud cases to improve the effectiveness of systems, processes and procedures used
Manage investigations of fraud by undertaking research and analysis of fraudulent activity, including customer accounts and activity analysis
Collaborate with Kiwibank's branches, the Police, and others to support the management and possible prosecution of incidents
Action Statutory Compliance requests from the Police and other Government Agencies ensuring responses are within the specified timeframes
Take a proactive approach to working with other members of the Fraud team to ensure the objectives and SLAs of the team are all met
Develop and maintain relationships with industry groups and keep regular contact with key relationships for informational purposes
The available shift is Monday to Friday 7am - 4pm.

At Kiwibank, we will help you build on your strengths and learn new skills, but in the meantime, we would love to hear from you if you have some of the following :
Previous fraud prevention and customer protection experience in a similar role
A strong understanding of the financial industry, anti-money laundering environment and legislative requirements
Previous experience using PRM or similar fraud detection system, SQL, and advanced Excel
Problem-Solving Ability and confident decision making
Great communication and relationship building.
