Salvation Army Family Store Volunteer - Te Awamutu
Volunteer with Us – Te Awamutu Family Store
We’re looking for locals to join the team at the Salvation Army Family Store in Te Awamutu — people who are happy to roll up their sleeves, have a laugh, and help keep things ticking along.
The shop’s a lively little hub where people come in for affordable finds and a friendly face. Whether you're sorting donations out the back or helping on the shop floor, there’s always something to do—and always someone to do it with.
Some of the things you'll be helping with are :
No retail experience? No worries—we’ll teach you everything you need to know.
And if, after you’ve been with us for a while, you’re keen to upskill or add something solid to your CV, we can support you to work toward a retail certificate—paid for by us.
If you’re from around Te Awamutu and looking for something steady and social, pop or if you’re curious, pop in for a cuppa and a chat. We’d love to have a chat. Most of all, we want you to enjoy it. No pressure—just come see what we’re about.
