We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Assistant to support daily operations across order processing, invoicing and case management. This role is central to ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction across multiple internal processes. While primarily focused on operations and administration, the Operations Assistant will also provide support to the warehouse team when needed, including performing warehouse system functions and assisting with physical tasks such as picking, packing, and dispatch to backfill the team.
- Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and action incoming requests promptly and with a high attention to details to meet expected service level agreements.
- Process orders in the NEXTGEN ERP system with accuracy and efficiency.
- Place purchase orders with Vendors and manage acknowledgements.
- Process Vendor and Customer invoices in line with company procedures.
- Follow designated internal processes and procedures in the CRM and ERP systems.
- Handle both internal and external queries with minimal supervision.
- Work closely with the extended Operations and Finance teams to support business objectives.
- Collaborate with colleagues across Sales, Finance and Vendor Management to resolve queries.
- Provide support to the warehouse team when required, including : - Performing warehouse functions in the ERP system (receipting, stock movement, dispatch). - Assisting in picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. - Booking shipments with various carriers.
- Expected Attributes
- 1-2 years of experience in a operations, administration, logistics, or a similar role.
- Strong attention to detail and reliability in performing routine tasks.
- Excellent time management, organization, and ability to prioritise tasks.
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
