About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for Oracle Developers to join a major transformation programme.

You'll be involved in varied and meaningful project work, helping modernise systems and elevate technology standards, with room to contribute across a range of platforms and tools.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate on defining user stories and acceptance criteria, offering development expertise throughout.

Design and document software solutions in line with agreed patterns and best practices.

Advocate for quality, performance, and security improvements across the development lifecycle.

Deliver clean, testable, and maintainable code to meet team goals.

Build and automate software delivery tasks supporting CI / CD pipelines.

Key Skills and Experience

Proven Oracle development experience.

Desirable : .

NET, microservices, HTML / React frontend development.

Exposure to integration tools such as RedHat OpenShift, APIs, Kafka, or 3Scale / APIGEE.

Familiarity with Cosmos DB, STRIIM, and related data-streaming technologies.

Understanding of application monitoring, observability, and security practices.

Experience with legacy technologies such as PowerBuilder or C frameworks is a plus.

Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and agile delivery experience.

Hands on Oracle application and database development; 3 month contract to cover emergency leave; Flexible working environment - work from home 3-4 days a week.
