QUALITY COORDINATOR

Overview

We have an exciting opportunity, based at our site in Christchurch, for a Quality Coordinator to join our team. Reporting to the Quality Manager NZ, this role will be responsible for plant quality conformance, assisting the Production teams’ achievement of production targets to quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Product Quality

Customer focus - Understanding and knowledge of customer requirements.; Set quality objectives for factory, aligned with business strategy and overall quality plan.

Ensure products conform to internal and external specifications.; Ensure process control plan is correctly applied.

Escalate any quality or food safety related deviations.; Schedule and conduct product and process audits.; Monitor and report on key quality performance indicators (KPIs); Control of non-conforming products.

Compliance to FSSC 22000, HACCP standards.; Liaise with the Production teams, to ensure Quality and Food Safety procedures are understood and followed.

Compliance to the Quality ISO 9001 standard; Compliance to company Quality policies, procedures & systems; Conduct Audits as per standards requirements.; Evaluate system performance.
