- Lead design projects, lifting project delivery excellence across power, energy, and renewable related projects. You will be a project expert contributing to the delivery of energy related transmission, generation and renewable energy projects. You will utilise strong project management skills to manage internal teams and client relationships ensuring projects are completed to time, cost, scope and quality. This is a unique opportunity to join the Beca Power business, working on projects throughout New Zealand and Australia, based in the Beca Auckland office.Working at Beca will provide you with access to a truly multi discipline business where you can draw on technical experts to support delivery of significant and complex projects, across the power, energy, and renewables domain. You will gain exposure to a wide base of consulting services in a highly collaborative business, that is employee owned. Significant career opportunities exist across functions, disciplines, people leadership, management or delivery roles depending on how you want to shape your career.Aligned with the level of the role, we envision that the base salary component will be in the region of NZ$100,000 – NZ$145,000, depending on skills and experience. The role is full time and permanent, with minimum guaranteed hours of 40 a week.

- Grow your Project Management career in this role where you will have plenty of scope for success. You will enjoy being a trusted advisor, with a passion for project delivery and achieving client outcomes, across the technical requirements within the Power, Energy, and Renewables sector. You will have the ability to lead and manage projects, building credible relationships across technical experts, clients, and contractors, with the ability to guide, collaborate, influence, and instigate project conversations to ensure delivery. You will know when to encourage, thank, support and challenge teams, including having courageous conversations when required.You will be energetic and passionate with a bias for action, known for working with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to make things happen. You will enjoy building relationships and understand key project requirements, leading people, and commercial acumen. You will have current project management and delivery experience, with a background within the professional services or consulting sector being important for success.You may have run projects of different scope and scale previously and be ready to make that next step in the complexity, diversity, and scale of Power related projects you work on. You will also be ready for increased responsibilities across the commercial outcomes of a project, with the desire to learn.To be successful in this role, you will bring several years’ experience, ideally in a consultancy environment with a delivery focus (this role won’t suit those at a graduate or at the start of their careers). You will also :
- Be organised, adaptable and able to think outside the box
- Have good inter-personal skills
- Be a great communicator; able to explain complex issues to a range of user groups
- Have experience managing project teams
- Be confident with business development and have advanced relationship management skills
