About the Role :

We are looking for a highly skilled and an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist or a Physiotherapist to join our committed Allied Health team in Northland.

We welcome applications for both full-time (40 hours / week) and part-time opportunities.

The ideal candidate will be someone who thrives on challenges, makes the best of opportunities, and enjoys working as part of a multidisciplinary team.

You will receive comprehensive training, excellent clinical support, and access to ongoing education to complete specific evidence-based reports and rehabilitation techniques.

Skills and Experience :

The ideal candidate will bring at least three years of post-graduate experience in managing physical injuries, along with a solid understanding of both acute care (MOH) and community rehabilitation (ACC) services.

A demonstrated interest in working with a diverse range of service users, particularly those with serious injuries such as spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, burns, and complex polytrauma across New Zealand, will be a distinct advantage.

The successful candidate will have :

NZ Registration with either the Physiotherapy Board or Occupational Therapy Board

Current Annual Practicing Certificate.

Proven ability to communicate and interact effectively with patients and a wide variety of staff

Excellent communication and report writing skills

Time management and relationship-building skills

Intermediate knowledge of MS Office

A commitment to providing the best service delivery to our service users

A valid Full NZ Driver's License

The ability to travel around the Northland region

The right to work legally and permanently in New Zealand.
