Job Description
The opportunity to make a real impact on the next generation of skilled professionals. As a facilitator of learning, you’ll support student success through hands-on training, guidance, and assessment, shaping their journey from student to confident professional.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage and Facilitate Learning : Deliver, assess, and continuously improve Skills-approved courses, fostering a dynamic and supportive learning environment for students.
- Support Student Success : Provide coaching, guidance, and timely feedback on student progress.
- Maintain Training Centre Quality : Ensure the training centre is well-prepared and resourced.
- Promote Health & Safety : Actively engage in and model well-being and health practices, adhering to Skills’ Health & Safety Policies.
- Collaborate for Excellence : Work closely with the Learning Manager to uphold standards in course delivery and training centre maintenance.
Desired Skills And Experience
A current New Zealand Electrical Registration (Full Practising Licence, Inspector’s Licence or equivalent Electrical Engineering qualification)Hold 4098 and unit standard 11551 or be working towards these.Strong practical experience in the electrical industry.Strong communication and coaching skills, with a passion for developing others.Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)Why join us?
