Pakūranga College is a large (2,200+ students), coeducational, culturally diverse secondary school located in Pakuranga, East Auckland.

We are seeking a passionate teacher of physics and junior science to join our high performing and well-established science faculty.

Pakūranga College has an extensive science programme. The successful candidate will teach junior science, Y11 science and NCEA physics. Previous experiences teaching NCEA L2 and L3 physics would be an advantage.

The successful candidate will demonstrate :

• A strong understanding of the New Zealand Curriculum in science.
• The ability to connect with and inspire a diverse range of learners.
• Be willing to embrace our digital learning environment and to contribute to the active co-curricular life of the school.
• A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and inclusive education practices.
• Willingness to work collaboratively within a team environment.
