Both working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 5.00pm.The role is based in Hamilton / Kirikiriroa and includes travel across other parts of the Waikato region, within working hours.In this role you will : work alongside people to identify their housing needs and support them to overcome barriers to housing.support people to transition from their current living situation into permanent housing.work in collaboration with other teams and agencies to identify on-going support needs for people who have moved into permanent housing.help people sustain their housing and link them in with the health and social supports they need.work closely with other NGOs and mental health clinical teams to review goals and provide housing solutions.You | MouWe are looking for someone with : Knowledge and understanding of the expectations of the private rental market.Experience in engaging with the real estate sector and processes.Strong communication and relationship building skills.Minimum of a level 4 New Zealand Certificate in Health & Wellbeing (NZCHW) or a recognised equivalent.
Or a willingness to complete this within two years of starting with us.Empathy and compassion, with the ability to work respectfully with diverse communities.Excellent attention to detail and proficiency in record keeping.Knowledge of and demonstrate commitment to the Treaty of Waitangi articles and working with Maori.A full New Zealand driving license is also essential.Applications close | Ra Katinga : 23 October 2025.
