Driver Helper

Tidy Homes Services Limited specialises in high-quality soft and pressure washing services for residential and commercial properties in New Zealand. Our services include House Washing, Roof Cleaning, Gutter Cleaning, Window Cleaning, Driveway Cleaning, Solar Panel Cleaning, and more.

We are looking for one Driver Helper to join our busy company.

Load and unload pressure washing tools, hoses, ladders, cleaning agents, and other supplies.

Drive the van to various sites

Assist lead technician or supervisor with setup and breakdown of equipment.

Ensure job site cleanliness before, during, and after service.

Perform light maintenance and cleaning of tools and vehicles.

Help manage hoses and cords to prevent tangling or safety hazards.

Pre-wet and rinse surfaces as directed (walls, driveways, roofs, etc.).

Assist in applying detergents and chemicals using soft wash systems or sprayers.

Scrub surfaces manually when needed (gutters, eaves, windowsills).

Rinse areas thoroughly after treatment.

Set up safety cones, signs, or barricades around the work area.

Wear and maintain proper PPE (gloves, goggles, boots, etc.).

Follow instructions for safe handling and mixing of cleaning chemicals.

Monitor surroundings for potential hazards (slippery surfaces, overhead lines, etc.)

Report equipment malfunctions or damage to the supervisor.

Operate pressure washer under supervision.

Experience required

One years experience in a Driver Helper role

Fit and capable.

Have a great attitude

Have a full clean class 1 license as a minimum

Heavy lifting required

Working in poor weather required

Location Auckland

Positions available 1

Employment is permanent and for a minimum of 32 hrs a week

Shifts are between 7am to 6pm Monday to Friday

Must be able to work weekends and public holidays

Pay rate offered is $30 to $35 per hour depending on experience
