The position supports ongoing professional development, encourages involvement in service improvement initiatives, and promotes a healthy work-life balance through manageable workloads and a supportive team culture.About the Team / Service / LocationThe Emergency Department at Hutt Hospital is part of the Hospital Operations Group within the Capital, Coast Hutt Valley district.

We serve a diverse and vibrant community providing acute care to a wide range of patients, including a significant proportion of Maori, Pasifika, and elderly individuals with complex health and social needs.

The ED team is multidisciplinary and inclusive, comprising but not limited to Senior Medical Officers, Resident Medical Officers, Nurse Practitioners, and Clinical Nurse Specialists who work collaboratively to deliver culturally safe, equitable, and high-quality care.
