Overview
An exciting opportunity to make a significant difference to the educational outcomes of our students.
Applicants should be able to teach up to Scholarship level, be eligible for New Zealand registration and endorse the College's academic priority.
The successful applicant will also be expected to be involved in our extensive co-curricular programme.
Our college is a Y9–13 school in Auckland serving a largely Pacific Island and Maori population.
Our students' families are in many cases first or second-generation New Zealanders who moved here for a better life and opportunities for their children, and this is reflected in the family aspirations.
The successful applicant will be employed under the terms of the Secondary Teachers' Collective Agreement.
Applicants must have a minimum of a bachelor's degree and teaching qualification.
Experience is preferred, however, first year teachers will be considered.
As a school, we are committed to increasing the number of students who go on to degree-level study and we are currently looking for excellent classroom practitioners who can continue, and build on, our students' successes.
