Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise drainage installation crews on a variety of civil construction projects, ensuring work is carried out efficiently, safely, and to a high standard.
• Coordinate site activities such as excavation, pipelaying, and backfilling in compliance with relevant specifications, council standards, and best practices.
• Interpret site plans, drawings, and instructions to manage workflow and project milestones effectively.
• Facilitate toolbox meetings, implement safety procedures, and promote a proactive, positive safety culture amongst team members.
• Monitor project progress, quantities used, and site records, highlighting any issues or variations to supervisors or project managers promptly.
• Mentor, support, and train less experienced team members to foster individual growth and team capability.
• Collaborate with subcontractors, engineers, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery and resolve any challenges rapidly.
