• Fixed-term, part-time (0.7 FTE, 56 hours per fortnight) secondment cover until 11 / 11 / 2026
• Salary band - $81,000 - $106,000 p.a pro-rata and KiwiSaver

We have an exciting fixed-term, part-time opportunity for a registered nurse looking to work in cancer care. Dunedin Hospital is the Cancer Centre for southern, with satellite treatment areas across the southern district.
• This role includes the following :
• Work across a variety of areas in medical oncology, radiation oncology and haematology
• Administration of chemotherapy and all supportive treatments, monitoring patients receiving radiation therapy, and providing clinic support for patients
• Occasionally there may be times when you are needed to work within the acute ward 8C

• We are looking for nurses who are :
• experienced
• organised
• friendly
• calm
• able to work independently and at the same time genuinely interested in the best outcome for both patient and team.
• You will have :
• current registration with the New Zealand Nursing Council
• proven experience as a Registered Nurse
• the demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with other professionals
• excellent time management, interpersonal and organisational skills
• the ability to be adaptable, flexible and solution focused
• previous acute Oncology / Haematology experience (preferable, but not essential).

• Salary range
• This role is covered by the terms and conditions of the expired NZNO CEA and the salary will be in accordance with the RN Pay Scale, between $81,683 and $106,739 p.a pro-rata dependent on relevant experience.
