Awanui Labs - Queenstown seeks a casual Trainee for Patient Services to assist with specimen collection and support diagnostic pathology operations.
Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing :
- Collect blood samples and handle contained specimens including human blood, faeces, urine, tissue from patients in the community and hospital settings
- Support processing and testing of samples in a state-of-the-art medical laboratory
- Work within the Patient Services team adhering to strict quality procedure guidelines
- Provide high-quality service to internal and external customers with effective interpersonal skills
