Clarkville te Kura ki Waim ā tao is a high performing, innovative and collaborative school, 5 minutes drive from northern Christchurch and Kaiapoi.
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative professional to join our highly collaborative teaching team. You will lead our Y7–8 learning space and programme, and work with one other teacher with approximately 42 ākonga.
The successful applicant will be able to build effective relationships with ākonga and wh ā nau and model a growth mindset. We are proud of our Y7–8 ākonga, as student leaders of our school.
Your knowledge of curriculum, pedagogy and assessment will ensure the best possible outcomes for ākonga in your learning space. We have strong Literacy, Mathematics and Inquiry programmes that ensure our ākonga have the very best learning opportunities and achieve highly. Sound practices and knowledge of STEM would be an advantage.
You will join an effective leadership team with a distributed leadership model. A desire to grow or extend your leadership capability is essential.
