OverviewWe\'re on the hunt for a Warehouse / Counter Sales Superstar to join our team in Dunedin.
Reporting to the Branch Manager, your role is pivotal in supporting our customers by recommending suitable products, providing relevant quotes based on their needs, and offering excellent customer service to ensure our customers continue shopping with us.Key QualificationsSome experience in warehousing or customer service is an advantage, but we are looking for someone with the right attitudeYou\'ll be willing to get stuck in with all aspects of warehousing and counter sales in our branchExcellent verbal and written communication, ability to work well under pressure, physical fitness, natural attention to detail and experience in working with numerical dataA clean restricted or full driver\'s licence and ability to drive while towing a trailer is also required to support your applicationA current forklift licence is an advantage, or a willingness to gain a forklift licence (paid for by the company)ResponsibilitiesServing customers and generating sales (via counter, phone, email)Sorting customer pricing and account queries, returns and creditsOrganising transfers of incoming goods and distribution of productsAssisting with and maintaining the stock in the showroom and on shelvesInvoicing accurately and on-time.
Follow up on any purchase ordersReceiving, unpacking, inspecting incoming goods and updating systemContributing and supporting the stock-take processHelping with the delivery of goods (where necessary) to customers / siteEnsuring Health & Safety protocols are adhered to at all times.DetailsThe hours of work for this role are Monday to Friday, 7.30am – 5pm, with the ocassional Saturday rostered on between 9am - 11am.What we can offerWhen you join our team we offer birthday leave and after 3 months service, the opportunity to access holiday homes at affordable rates.
