Office Coordinator

Our client is a long-standing transportable home manufacturer based in Te Kamo, Whangarei.

From their all-weather factory, they design and build modern, functional transportable and modular homes delivered across Northland, Auckland, and the wider North Island.

Now under new ownership, the business is entering an exciting phase of growth and innovation.

They are seeking a capable

Office Coordinator

to oversee day-to-day operations while supporting customer enquiries and sales activities.

This is a varied role that will suit someone who enjoys working across both operational and client-facing areas.

You'll report directly to the new owners and collaborate with a small, experienced team on-site.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations at the Whangarei factory, ensuring smooth coordination across production, sales, and administration.

Manage inbound customer enquiries via phone, email, and walk-ins, providing a professional and welcoming first point of contact.

Arrange and host factory tours for prospective customers, taking detailed notes to capture requirements and preferences.

Liaise with customers throughout the sales process, providing updates and support in collaboration with the owners.

Maintain and update documentation, customer records, and CRM systems.

Assist with supplier coordination, logistics, and general administrative tasks as needed.

Ideal Experience & Attributes

Proven experience in office management, operations coordination, or similar roles.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence managing customer interactions.

Tech-savvy and comfortable using mobile apps, shared documents, and CRM tools.

Experience in transportable or residential construction, logistics, or site supervision is highly desirable.

Flexible, proactive, and comfortable working in a hands-on environment.
