OverviewAdvisor, Senior Advisor, Principal Advisor - Judicial Learning and Development is a two-year fixed term opportunity (part-time arrangements available) to join a collaborative team that supports your career growth.
The role focuses on the continuous learning of Family Court judges, Family Court Associates, and other judicial officers.
You will contribute to high-impact, evidence-based educational programmes that respond to the evolving needs of the Family Court and the communities it serves.We are hiring across multiple levels – Advisor, Senior Advisor, and Principal Advisor – depending on your experience and expertise.
We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds with insight relevant to Family Court issues such as child protection, family violence, policy, victim support, or trauma-informed practice.
You might be a seasoned family law practitioner, a law student, a public servant focusing on policy and reform, an academic, or someone from a community organisation supporting court users.Key purpose : work with judges to develop, deliver, and evaluate high-quality judicial education programmes, promote best practice, and respond to the evolving landscape to improve outcomes for families across Aotearoa.
Engage with judicial leaders and subject matter experts to ensure educational initiatives are evidence-based, innovative, and aligned with the Family Court's needs.
Travel within New Zealand may be required to support Te Kura programming.
