Playcentre Aotearoa is a well known and loved ECE organisation with over 80 years of supporting parents to take the lead in their children’s learning through play. Playcentre operates over 400 Playcentres throughout the country.

Aria Playcentre is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic session facilitator to join our well-resourced and vibrant Playcentre Community. You will work alongside our members and tamariki to guide session activities, facilitate learning using child-led play and positive guidance, support planning and assessment for learning and positively support the Playcentre education programme. You will be a leader who encourages others to thrive; you will model Playcentre philosophy and good practice while supporting whānau to gain confidence to have a go themselves.

14 October or as soon as possible.

Days or hours :

Tuesday morning sessions, 3 hours per week this is inclusive of 30 minutes non-contact time. This is a permanent position during term time only.

The ideal candidate will :

• Hold a Playcentre Course 3 qualification, or higher Early Childhood qualification;
• Hold a current first aid certificate; or be prepared to achieve this.

Desirable skills and experience will include :

Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
