We are looking for a well organised, collaborative and capable writer to lead the development of policy and deliver reports in a timely manner.As a
Policy Analyst Transport Regulation
you will be part of the Transport Strategy team and there will be an opportunity for you to become involved in the wide range of transport initiatives.
Key responsibilities of this role include
advise on the strategic, policy and regulatory planning framework
ensure community expectations and operational, legislative and regulatory requirements are met
develop responses including policies, plans, standards and bylaws
write and present Transport reports for Council
About you
We are looking for a proactive and forward-thinking individual, who ideally :
has a tertiary qualification in a related field
has a minimum 3 years professional experience in a similar role
has proven experience in developing policy
has an understanding of legislation and regulatory controls
What we offer :
Permanent, full time (37.5 hrs pw) opportunity
5 weeks annual leave + additional long service leave after qualifying periods
