Bar Manager

We are currently looking for  experienced Bar managers for our resturant and bar  in Auckland, who can maintain smooth, efficient and cost effective running of the Bar in all areas, including bar service, staff roasters, training and induction, stock, brand management and strategic planning.

We are looking Bar Manager for the following location :

The Landing Restaurant & Bar  at 2 Onehunga Harbour Road, Auckland Central, Auckland

Tactics Sports Bar  at13 Aviemore Drive, Highland Park, Auckland 2010, New Zealand

A sucessful candidate must have either relevant experience or qualifications.

Experience : 2 years or

Qualification : Level 4 or above

Your duties will include but not limited to :

Prepare brief analysis and business information reports of the restaurant as  required.

Establish and full human resource needs by Recruiting, training and supervising.

Management of the delivery of stock and consumables and ensure that they are  matched  against the delivery invoices

Monitor and oversee purchase of groceries and liquor.

Planning menus and discuss them with chef and other staff for implementation

Ensure all duties are carried out to meet the requirements on the daily run sheets

when  working with clients on private functions

Ensuring compliance with licensing, hygiene and health and safety  legislation / guidelines

Ordering cleaning supplies and inventory.

Any incidents or complaints must be recorded in the Duty Manager’s Report and

these must  be brought to the attention of the owner / director.

Producing staff rosters.

Handling customer enquiries and complaints.

Preparing and presenting sales reports.

Keeping and updating nancial records and assessing and improving pro tability.

Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety.

Order stationary, check cash levels and prepare cash drawers and petty cash.

Handling administration and paperwork.

Liaising with customers, employees, suppliers, licensing authorities, sales  representatives etc.

Making improvements to the running of the business and developing the  restaurant and bar.

Job Type : Full-time & permanent

Salary : $30.00 – $35.00 per hour

Hours : 30-40 / week

Weekend availablity : Must be able to work on weekend and late night, if required.
