Business Development Manager International : China

About the role

As part of Otago Polytechnic’s International Education Strategy we’re investing in our International Team so seek applications for a Business Development Manager – International (China).

The successful applicant will represent, promote, maintain and establish new connections to actively market international learner activity from China while working collaboratively with the wider International Team and Colleges at Otago Polytechnic. You will contribute to developing learner recruitment, marketing and support services and processes to exceed Chinese learners and their whānau expectations of Otago Polytechnic.

To be successful in these roles you will have :

• Demonstrable experience in marketing education internationally with a Chinese focus
• Exemplary relationship-building skills
• Cultural intelligence in Chinese environments
• Relevant fluency of Chinese language
• Commercial acumen with an eye for revenue growth
• Experience in vocational tertiary education would be an advantage.
