Territory Manager, SPM – Auckland

This role will be responsible and accountable for business growth within the defined territory by maximising sales of Smith + Nephew Sports Medicine products and brands through regular contact with the target customer base.
What you’ll be doing
- Sales Budget : Responsibility for achieving and exceeding sales budget for the assigned state / territory and meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as set by the Regional Sales Manager Sports Medicine NZ. Ensure the annual product portfolio sales targets are achieved in the assigned territory.
- Account Management : Develop and manage short- and long-term account strategies that support S+N SPM strategies and objectives. Implement and maintain an account management process that includes account assessment, prioritisation, strategy development and execution, and regular account reviews with the Regional Sales Managers.
- Sales Forecasting : Create accurate sales forecasts and provide timely monthly reporting to the Regional Sales Manager on actuals vs forecasts.
- Market & Risk Management : Actively monitor market trends including competitor activities and work with the Regional Sales Manager to mitigate risks to achievement of sales forecast.
- Sales Leadership : Influence, coach and support the clinical support team in providing exceptional case support and training.
What you’ll need to be successful
Education : Tertiary qualifications in science or business-related discipline.Experience : Proven experience in Sports Medicine and / or endoscopy clinical support or exceptional sales experience in related medical devices.Good understanding of the NZ public and private healthcare system.Ability to interpret financial and clinical data.Travel Requirements : approximately 20 – 80% depending on business needs.How to apply
