About the role
This kaiako will start in term 1,
Responsibilities
Create a stimulating learning environment that fosters creativity, problem-solving, and mastery of knowledge and skills.
Encourage students to develop their thinking, confidence and technological thinking.
Collaborate with colleagues to achieve outstanding outcomes and maintain a focus on learner outcomes for all children.
Lead project-based, hands-on learning and facilitate learning across all contexts within the hard-materials workshop.
Build positive relationships with students, parents and the school community.
Ideal candidate
Passed the New Zealand Teaching Council requirements (certificated teacher).
Passion for project-based learning and a strength in building connections and positive relationships.
Confidence in working with hard-materials and willingness to teach across all learning contexts.
Driven to inspire learners, keep them at the centre of practice, and strive for excellence.
Collaborative, empowering and eager to innovate.
