Teacher Aide (In Class Support)

We are a coeducational non-uniform school located on Pukeahu.

We have a growing relationship with Te Atiawa which supports our kura's access to the wider community of Te Whanganui-a-Tara, and its potential local curriculum.We are looking for suitably qualified and experienced Teacher Aides to join our in class support team at the start of Term

• (subject to the successful return of a police vetting check).

This position will suit someone who is able to work with and support individual students within a busy mainstream class environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience of secondary education, teaching and learning processes, and will work with students across a range of subjects including Science and Maths.

The successful applicant will support learning, respond to individual needs and liaise with teachers.

Patience, a sense of humour, adaptability and the ability to form relationships quickly are essential.Experience of working with students with learning needs is advantageous.

Experience of working with students with ADHD, specific learning needs and autistic spectrum conditions is desirable.This position is for 28 hours per week, term time only.
