The Multi-Site Manager is responsible for managing all cleaning and maintenance service delivery across multiple client sites. This includes coordinating subcontractors and cleaning teams, monitoring performance, ensuring compliance with client standards, maintaining site quality, and resolving operational issues on the ground.
The role ensures that each cleaning site operates efficiently, meets client expectations, and adheres to WHGS Limited’s safety and service standards.
Job Description :
Oversees daily operational delivery across multiple cleaning and maintenance sites.
Coordinates work schedules, tasks and site assignments for subcontractors and teams.
Ensures all cleaning and maintenance activities meet agreed service levels.
Conducts regular site inspections to monitor quality and identify improvement areas.
Resolves on-site operational issues promptly and effectively.
Ensures all teams follow site-specific instructions, safety procedures and cleaning protocols.
Allocates subcontractors to various sites based on job requirements and skillsets.
Monitors subcontractor performance to ensure adherence to company standards.
Provides training, guidance and support to contractors and cleaning staff.
Ensures subcontractors maintain valid certifications, insurance and compliance documents.
Works closely with the Business Manager on subcontractor onboarding and documentation.
Acts as the main point of contact for clients regarding day-to-day site operations.
Conducts routine client meetings and site walk-throughs.
Addresses clients’ operational concerns, special requests and service adjustments.
Reports escalated or commercial issues to the Business Manager or Director.
Ensures strong and proactive communication with clients at each site.
Ensures all subcontractors and staff follow New Zealand workplace health and safety regulations.
Implements correct use of PPE, equipment, chemicals and cleaning procedures.
Reports hazards, incidents and near-misses and ensures corrective actions are taken.
Maintains safety compliance records for all sites.
Ensures high-quality and consistent delivery across all locations.
Implements quality-check processes, audits and performance tracking.
Identifies recurring issues and works with management to improve systems and standards.
Introduces operational efficiencies to improve productivity and reduce downtime.
Provides daily operational updates to the Business Manager.
Works with the Business Manager for scheduling, client onboarding and subcontractor changes.
Coordinates with the Director for major site issues, escalations or strategic changes.
Supports business growth by ensuring operational readiness for new clients or new sites.
Skills and Experience Required :
At least NZQF Level 4 qualification in business, management or relevant field OR At least 2 years of relevant cleaning experience and willingness to undertake internal supervisory training.
Experience working independently and following site instructions.
Willingness to undertake further training in supervision, site coordination and operational management.
Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate cleaning teams across multiple sites.
Good practical knowledge of cleaning industry standards and service delivery expectations.
Additional Requirements :
Clean Full New Zealand Driver Licence.
Willingness to undergo drug and alcohol testing as required.
Availability to work on call, including weekends or after-hours when needed.
Employment Details :
Full-time, permanent role (minimum 30 hours and maximum 40 hours weekly).
Travel to client sites required.
