We are hard-working, down-to-earth, and passionate engineers and geologists who provide quality geotechnical site investigation, analysis, and design advice to the construction, infrastructure and energy sectors.

Our Hamilton office with over 20 staff, located beside MADE in Hamilton East, is looking to hire a Principal Geotechnical Engineer / Engineering Geologist with 15+ years of experience working in a geotechnical consultancy. Specifically, our team is looking for an engineer who can provide analysis, design, and technical advice for our clients across the residential, industrial, infrastructure and energy space. You will be a strong communicator, adept at working closely with clients and providing technical oversight to the CMW team to deliver practical solutions. You'll also play a key role in training and upskilling our engineers and geologists.

What You'll Need

• A relevant Engineering Degree and CPEng or PEngGeol status
• 15+ years experience in a geotechnical consultancy
• New Zealand and specifically Waikato experience is preferred
• Strong technical knowledge and ability
• Good interpersonal skills and solid commercial acumen
• Exceptional organisation and communication skills, both verbal and written
