UHT Aseptic Engineer

We're driven by our values - We Grow Together, We Keep Things Simple, We Get Stuff Done.About the opportunity : We are looking for an Aseptic Engineer to take responsibility for the maintenance, efficiency, and cost effective management of our Tetra Pak machinery at our Meadow Fresh UHT manufacturing site in Christchurch.As the Aseptic specialist you will have overview of the creation, implementation, and embedding of continuous improvement initiatives to ensure site equipment reliability and efficiency.In order to achieve these outcomes your key responsibilities will include :

• Improve the reliability of Tetra Pak machinery including identifying, planning, and scheduling routine maintenance activities
• Identify problem areas and solves by analyzing top loss information from downtime, wastage, and quality figures
• Design and document automatic control systems including instrumentation and PLCs
• Perform root-cause analysis and fault finding on variable speed control drivesNote : The role is on a rotating shift pattern of two days, two nights & four off (Days : 5.45am - 6.00pm, Nights : 5.45pm - 6.00am) About you : In order to be successful in this role, we are looking for an experienced engineer that has experience in maintaining Aseptic equipment and Tetra Pak plant equipment.Experience and qualifications we would like to see include :
• Engineering degree, and / or trade qualified mechanical or electrical person with experience in a FMCG Aseptic role
• Strong root-cause analysis experience to deal with breakdowns in a timely fashion & high level understanding of Engineering Manufacturing processes
• A commitment to Health & Safety, and experience in machinery guarding
